1916 solid bronze commemorative medal. It measures 1¾ inches across and is 1/8 inch thick. The obverse features the raised likeness of Anheuser-Busch founder Adolphus Busch and banker Peter J. Doerr. The reverse features the "Lafayette South Side Bank of St. Louis". Busch died in 1913 overseas and his body was not returned to St. Louis until 1915, a year prior to the making of this medal.
