David Geiger was born Württemberg, Germany. He setted for 10 years in Duluth Minnesota. Then in 1879 he followed the gold rush out to Ouray, a boom town in the San Juan Mountains of southeast Colorado. There he started a small brewery and bottling works. The brewery close in 1893. He died in 1905.
