Mike Biersack was born in Germany. In 1853 he founded a brewery in Beaver Dam Wisconsin. He sold the business in 1856 to John Goeggerle and became a butcher. He died on May 10th 1873 at the age of 57 years. The brewery he founded would eventually become the Louis Ziegler Brewery.
