A classic can from Minnesota's great wildlife and duck stamp artist Les Kouba. The theme of this work is humanity's encroachment on native habitat. Here again, Kouba used a stream to separate past from present. To the left of the stream we see a conestoga wagon delivering the pioneers to their future western homes.To the right, we see a modern diesel locomotive whisking their passengers across the country.
