Description

A classic can from Minnesota's great wildlife and duck stamp artist Les Kouba. The theme of this work is humanity's encroachment on native habitat. Here again, Kouba used a stream to separate the past from the present. To the left of the stream, we see a Conestoga wagon delivering the pioneers to their future western homes. To the right, we see a modern diesel locomotive whisking its passengers across the country.
