Description

A classic can from Minnesota's great wildlife and duck stamp artist Les Kouba. The theme of this work is humanity's encroachment on native habitat. Kouba uses a stream to symbolize the passing of time. To the left of the stream, we see a herd of Buffalo grazing the open prairie long ago. To the right of the stream is a modern dairy farm, where cows amiably munch on green grass.
