Sunday, July 9, 1843 Henry Altstaetter
Henry Altstaetter was born in Germany. He and Severin Bechler met while working a brewery in Delphos and in 1849 partnered to found what four decades later would become the Upper Sandusky Brewing Company. Altstaetter retired from the business in 1882 and he died on the 27th day of May, 1900.
