This 10 7/8" lidded stein was made in Germany by Gerz. The 3rd and final in Budweiser's "Saturday Evening Post" Christmas Collection series of steins. Originally published on December 22, 1923, this cover illustration by J. C. Leyendecker has been reproduced in deep relief. The solid pewter lid, detailed in a holly motif, is topped with a star rising above the clouds.
