Samuel Adolph buys into the floundering John Krall & Co. Brewery in Salem Oregon, saving it from bankruptcy and guiding it towards success for another ninety years.

Tilmon Ford and B. F. Bonham, referees of the estate of Capital Brewery owner Seraphin Beck, sold the brewery to his widow, Margarite (Margaret) Beck for $30,000.
