Joseph Liebmann was born. In 1869 he and David Obermeyer founded the Obermeyer & Liebmann, Havana Brewery in Brooklyn, New York. In 1924 the Brewery merged with S. Liebmann's Sons Brewery. Liebmann died on April 4, 1895.
