Saturday, July 11, 1835 Johann Adam Eulberg
Johann Adam Eulberg, the oldest of the Eulberg Bros. brewers of Portage, Wisconsin, was born. he and his brother Adam purchased the Charles Hartel City Brewery in Portage Wisconsin and created the Eulberg Bros. Brewery. The brewery would outlive the brothers, survive Prohibition and ultimately close in 1958. Johann Adam Eulberg passed away May 20, 1901.
