Saturday, December 18, 1819 John Paxton
John Paxton was born in England. He emigrated to America with his parents at age 11. They settled in Detroit Michigan, where his father Peter was a sailor on the Great Lakes. For a time around 1850 John was a brewer. It is unknown whether he worked in someone else's brewery or had his own stand. he died in 1890.
