E. E. Haley, an Agent for the Consumers Brewery of Norfolk, Virginia was busted for violating the Byrd Liquor Law. The Agent was fined $500 for the offense. That is the equivalent of $13,150 in 2014 dollars. The offense? Selling a single bottle of non-alcoholic malt beverage.
