In an old stone tavern, way back in 1786, an English brewmaster named Benjamin Faulkins first brewed the ale to be known through succeeding generations as Hudson Ale, Evans' Hudson Ale and Evans Ale.
The Evans of today is still being brewed from the original Faulkins formula and~ aged with the careful uniformity of a century and a half ago.
You moderns will appreciate Evans Ale, just as your fathers and forefathers did. You'll enjoy its smooth, rich flavor and benefit from its wholesome healthfulness.
