Seven 2-page Letters (14 pages, not all photographed) dated from 4/4/1922 and 2/26/1925 documenting the nearly two-year endeavor by the brewery to use the Zahm & Nagel De-Alcoholizer to make malt syrup; a struggle to which Haffenreffer undoubtedly lost a great deal of money. The frustration is still plain on the pages nearly 100 years later!
