Friday, February 8, 1839 James Walter Pitts
James Walter Pitts was born in Londonthorpe Lincolnshire, England. He emigrated to America in 1865 and soon found his way to the mining boom town of Central City, Colorado where he established a brewery. Pitts left town in 1873 and resettled in Salt Lake City. Potts died in that city on June 6, 1906.
