Frederic Ullrich was born in Baden, Germany. In 1870 he became one of the first brewers in Idaho Springs, Colorado. He had a long life after closing up shop in 1879 at age 36. Perhaps he found better money in the mines. He died on the 22nd day of September, 1913, a week in to his 70th year.
