This can is a work of art by Minnesota native Duck Stamp artist Les Kouba. One of the original 4 scenes he painted for the Jacob Schmidt Brewing Company in the early 1950s to promote their flagship "Schmidt Beer". The scene features Minnesota's Past and Present. At the left a moose looks on as a group of lumberjacks cuts up trees.
